Hi Everyone, I have a DS who is 9 weeks. At around the 4-5 week mark he turned into a spew baby! This has gradually gotten worse and is doing my head in! He is bottle fed and is on S26. He is a very happy baby, sleeps well, has been putting on great weight just vomits alot! Anyway, my CHN has suggested I try an AR formula. I didn't really want to, don't know why but finally decided I had to try something! I guess I was and still am scared it will un-settle him as he is really such a good baby. Well we had our first bottle of S26 AR yesterday. He didn't have any major spews during the feed and only a little afterwards, didn't help that he was doing a number 2! Today so far so good, only one big spew and the rest very minor. I am curious for those using AR formulas what teats are you using? I am using Avent. I have found the number 1 teat too slow with the thickened formula, number 2 seems ok and 3 was too fast! When you switched your baby onto an AR formula, did your babies vomiting stop immediately or just slightly improve? Did your baby get constipated? Any information you have about switching your baby onto AR and how they went is appreciated. Hoping I can stop doing as many loads of washing now! Thanks Ladies. Cath
